Welcome back to SCHOOL!
Carbonear Academy Re-opens Wednesday, September 6 at 8:00am for grades 1-8.
Kindergarten students will begin September 6 at 9:00am.
All walkers and student drop offs will enter the building through the main entrance only (this is a change from last year). All students will be dismissed at 2:10pm
Cafeteria services will begin the second week of school, September 11, 2023. Please bring your own lunch and recess during week 1.
Student allergies (list will be updated early in school year) include Fish, eggs, all nuts, bananas, blackberries, raspberries, bakeapples. Please do not bring food containing these products to school.
We also have students and staff with allergies to SCENTED products.
Courtesy seating applications for busing will not be accepted until school re-opens September 6.
Student busing information can be accessed by visiting nlesd.mybusplanner.ca and login into the parent portal and create an account. You will need your child's student number which can be found on your child's latest report card or submit a Student Public Transportation Inquiry Form, to create an account.
Unfortunately, Carbonear Academy will be closed on Thursday, September 7, due to the twon water supply being shut off all day.
