About us

OUR SCHOOL

In September 2013 all K-8 students from Carbonear and Hr. Grace, who previously attended Davis Elementary and Hr. Grace Primary, started the school year at Carbonear Academy. We have a current school population of about 435 students! Our school is in the town of Carbonear, and is found on the East Coast of Newfoundland Labrador. Newfoundland Labrador is the most easterly province in the country of Canada.

At Carbonear Academy, we strive to provide a safe, caring, respectful and welcoming environment. Through shared decision making we promote an inclusive and collaborative school culture. We aim to promote growth and to celebrate the achievement of each school community member.
